How to Use the Deck Builder

Build competitive Gundam Card Game decks with our free online deck builder. Search cards, manage multiple decks, and share your builds with the community.

Getting Started

Deck Rules

• 50 cards exactly per deck
• Maximum 4 copies of any card (by card number)
• Maximum 2 colors per deck

Interface Overview

• Left Panel — Card browser with search and filters
• Right Panel — Your current deck with card list
• Mobile — Swipe between Card Browser and Deck tabs

Building Your Deck

Adding Cards

1. Browse or search for cards in the left panel
2. Click any card to add it to your deck
3. Cards show a badge with the current count in your deck
4. Hover over a card for quick stats and details

Removing Cards

• Click the − button on any card in your deck panel
• Or click the count badge to adjust quantity

Color Lock

Once your deck has 2 colors, you’ll see a Color Lock warning. Only cards matching your deck’s colors can be added. Remove cards of one color to unlock other options.

Managing Decks

Deck Dropdown (Top of Deck Panel)

• Shows your current deck name and card count
• Click to access all saved decks
• + New Deck — Start fresh (auto-saves current deck if named)

Saving Your Deck

1. Name your deck — Click the deck name field and type
2. Local Save (💾) — Saves to your browser’s storage
3. Cloud Save (☁️) — Saves to your account (requires login)

Loading a Deck

• Click the deck dropdown and select any saved deck
• Decks show card count and color indicators
• Cloud decks sync across all your devices

Deleting Decks

• In the dropdown, hover over a deck and click the trash icon
• Confirm deletion in the popup

Filters & Search

Quick Filters

• Color — Filter by Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, Purple, or White
• Type — Unit, Character, Command, Operation, etc.
• Set — Filter by expansion or starter deck
• Cost — Filter by resource cost
• Rarity — Common, Uncommon, Rare, etc.

Search

• Type card names, text, or traits in the search bar
• Search updates results in real-time
• Clear All Filters button resets everything

Export & Share

Click the Share icon (⎘) to access export options:

Share Link

• Copy Link — Generates a URL containing your full decklist
• Anyone with the link can view and import your deck

Export Formats

• Copy as Text — Plain text list for forums/Discord
• Download Image — Visual deck image for social media
• Download PDF — Printable decklist with card images

Import

• Paste a deck URL in your browser to auto-load a shared deck

Tips for Competitive Decks

1. Stick to 2 colors — Consistency is key
2. Balance your curve — Mix low and high-cost cards
3. Include card draw — Don’t run out of options
4. Test hands — Use the Test Hand feature to simulate draws
5. Check deck stats — Review your color and cost distribution
